Split Screen VW Campervan wedding
When I first met Jamie and Jessica I had my fingers crossed that they’d pick me to photograph their wedding. I felt an immediate affinity with them both, I think it’s because my hair used to look like Jamie’s. I’ve also always wanted a VW Campervan. I think it’s the Hippie in me, the freedom to travel wherever you want whenever you want (assuming that it hasn’t broken down).
Jessica and Jamie had the most beautiful Split Screen Campervan in Green and cream, expertly restored and chauffeured by Nigel from vwsplitscreenhire.co.uk. The ceremony was at Hardwicke Church with one of the most friendly and welcoming vicars that I’ve ever met, followed by the reception at Eastwood Park. Below are a few of the pictures of their day.

We knew we wanted someone who was going to bring something special to our photos and after talking to lots of other local photographers, Simon really stood out. His passion, enthusiasm and technical expertise were obvious, as was his fun-side; we knew we could trust him to add that special ingredient we were looking for.
In the lead up to the wedding Simon provided some invaluable advice, especially once Jessica had got over the fact that this was a guy who really knew about make-up too! Come the morning of our big day Simon really helped to calm the nerves with his light-hearted banter.
Throughout the day itself Simon helped us and our guests to relax and focus on enjoying the occasion, which the photos are a wonderful testament to. Many of those who came to the day and evening receptions took the time to tell us how great they thought our photographer was!
Right back at the start we had realised that in years to come the photos will gradually become our memories of our day together and we are very happy that Simon has beautifully captured the story from start to finish.
